Terms
Launch-state terms for GotPlans.
Last updated March 10, 2026.
What this covers
These terms apply to the GotPlans website, the Austin signup funnel, the public API, and the feedback and submission forms.
Launch-state service
GotPlans is an early product. Event availability, categories, schedules, and weekly email coverage can change without notice while the Austin system is still being tuned.
Your use of the product
Use the service lawfully and do not try to degrade, overload, or abuse the website or API. Do not submit false event data, spam the signup form, or automate requests in a way that harms service availability.
Content and accuracy
We try to keep Austin event data useful and current, but we cannot guarantee that every listing, source link, or occurrence detail is complete, accurate, or still live. Always verify important event details with the original source before showing up.
Email and preference records
When you sign up, we store your email and preferences so we can send the weekly digest and manage what you receive. We may send confirmation, management, or operational email related to that signup.
API expectations
The public API is meant for reasonable integration use, including agents and internal tools. We may change or rate-limit the API if a client creates reliability or abuse problems, but the goal is to keep the contract stable and machine-readable.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is during launch. To the extent allowed by law, GotPlans disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product matures. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
