How GotPlans handles launch-state data.

Last updated March 10, 2026.

What we collect

We collect the data you send us directly, including email addresses, selected cities, selected activity preferences, event submissions, feedback, and Austin coverage requests.

Where preferences live

Subscriber records and preference state are stored in Supabase as the canonical system of record. That is where city and activity preferences are persisted for the weekly product.

Email delivery tooling

We sync subscriber contact data to Resend to support email delivery and contact management. Resend is not the source of truth for your preferences; it mirrors the subscription state we store in Supabase.

Feedback and coverage requests

Public feedback and coverage requests may be written into our GitHub issue workflow so they can be reviewed and acted on by the product and operations system.

How we use data

We use this data to operate the weekly Austin product, improve event coverage, process submissions, debug issues, and send the emails you asked for.

What we do not do

We do not treat Resend as the authoritative preference store, and we do not sell your signup data as part of this launch-state product.

Retention and changes

We keep launch-state records for as long as they are useful for operating the service, meeting legal obligations, or honoring your subscription state. We may revise this policy as the product and legal review mature.
